As accredited schools know, ACCSC requires the annual submission of financial statements. But, this past year has seen two significant changes in this regard. First is that ACCSC now requires the submission of an accompanying worksheet that summarizes and calculates key data. Second is a change for schools participating in Title IV as the Department now requires audited financial statements match the fiscal year used on its IRS filings (34 CFR §668.23(d)(1)). To support institutions in navigating these changes, this focused webinar will provide guidance on the use of the Financial Statement Analysis Worksheet, composite score calculations, and z-score analysis as well as ACCSC’s expectations for changes to a school’s fiscal year and impact on that change for paying sustaining fees. The webinar will also provide a primer on the requirements of the Instructions for Financial Reportig and Related Information and provide tips on what is useful information to submit when a school is placed on Financial Reporting.
