Calling all Plumbers, Builders, Carpenters, and Electricians-in-Training!
For the fourth year in a row, the mikeroweWORKS Foundation’s Work Ethic Scholarship Program is accepting applications for qualified people looking to get trained for skills jobs that are in demand.
The Foundation has collaborated with This Old House to create the Generation Next campaign to help close the skills gap by encouraging young people to master the vocational trades that built this country, including carpentry, construction, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. As part of this year’s program, a few top recipients will have the opportunity to highlight their stories on This Old House’s Generation Next coverage across all its platforms.
- The deadline to submit applications is May 19, 2017, and applicants are strongly encouraged to submit applications as early as possible.
