ACCSC is pleased to announce the launch of registration for the 2012 Professional Development Conference scheduled for September 10-12, 2012 at the Omni San Diego Hotel located in the Historic Gaslamp District in sunny San Diego, California.
Pre-Conference Workshops
Optional Pre-Conference activities will be hosted on Monday, September 10th, and will feature two full-day enhancement workshops (topics to be announced). Additionally, active ACCSC Team Leaders are encouraged to attend the 2012 Team Leader Conference, a full-day, invitation only conference and symposium scheduled for September 10th.
This year’s conference program will kick off on Tuesday, September 11th, and will feature a dynamic group of presenters from the ACCSC community who will focus extensively on the approaches that institutions can pursue to develop and maintain a meaningful relationship with the employment community, as well as the proven strategies to keep students in school and ensure that graduates possess the skills necessary to achieve sustained success in the workplace.
ACCSC’s Annual Awards Luncheon
On September 11th, ACCSC will host an Annual Awards Luncheon. This event affords the Commission with an opportunity to recognize the contributions made by several outstanding individuals, including the Graduate of the Year, Instructor of the Year, as well as ACCSC’s Volunteers of the Year. During the Annual Awards Ceremony, the Commission will also recognize the significant achievements of ACCSC-accredited institutions through the presentation of the Schools of Distinction, Schools of Excellence, and the annual Community Service Award.
