Volunteers Overview
ACCSC is currently seeking new evaluators to assist in conducting on‐site school evaluations to applicant and member institutions so as to ensure the participation of a continued pool of qualified and trained individuals. Qualified educators and practitioners in various disciplines are in demand and urged to become involved in the peer‐review accreditation process focused primarily on post‐secondary, proprietary educational institutions across the country.
Individuals possessing advanced credentials in education, knowledge of principles of teaching or administration within public or private institutions of higher learning are being sought as are individuals who possess strong vocational or administrative backgrounds.
Dedicated to ensuring quality education for more than 220,000 students who annually pursue career and technical postsecondary education at more than 810 ACCSC accredited institutions, ACCSC staff and Commission rely heavily on the thousands of volunteers who make it possible to conduct reviews of such a wide‐range of institutions. In the course of a typical month, ACCSC staff and on‐site evaluation team members conduct an average of 35 on‐site evaluations to ACCSC accredited and applicant institutions in the fifty states and Puerto Rico which requires the use of a well‐established pool of quality volunteers. As a result of wanting to continually support the ACCSC review process, currently the following volunteer evaluator positions are available.
