ACCSC is pleased to announce the launch of the 2011 Professional Development Conference scheduled for September 19-21, 2011 at the Westin Long Beach in Long Beach, California.


Now in its fifth year, ACCSC’s Professional Development Conference (PDC) remains the best conference of its kind in the career college industry – a membership-driven event that provides an opportunity for leaders from the ACCSC community of institutions to collaborate on enhancing the success of the hundreds of thousands of students that attend accredited institutions each year.

Some of the many benefits of attending this year’s PDC include the opportunities for the membership to engage with the Commission on the myriad of accreditation activities that have occurred throughout the year; to learn more about the policy positions taken by ACCSC; and to hear directly from the leadership of the Commission about the momentous changes in the legislative and regulatory landscape within the higher education community, especially with regard to for-profit institutions. Additionally, the PDC affords the Commission with an opportunity to recognize the contributions made by several outstanding individuals as well as to celebrate the significant achievements of ACCSC-accredited institutions.
