Annual Business Meeting
The ACCSC Bylaws require that “[a] meeting of the members shall be held annually at a date and a place which shall be determined by the Accrediting Commission. The purpose of such meeting shall be the receipt of reports on the budget and finances of the Corporation and its activities and affairs, election of representatives of the members of the Corporation on the Nominating Committee, … approval or disapproval of dues and assessments, … and the transaction of other business as specified by the Accrediting Commission.”
The Commission last held its Annual Business Meeting on September 15, 2009 in conjunction with the ACCSC Professional Development Conference hosted in San Diego, California. At this year's Annual Business Meeting, the Commission provided a full report to the membership on its activities for the 2009/10 fiscal year (July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010), as well as reports from the Chairman of the Commission, Executive Director, and Commission Treasurer.
The next ACCSC Annual Business Meeting will take place in the fall of 2010, in conjunction with the annual Professional Development Conference.
