Each year, the Commission formally recognizes the success and significant achievements of ACCSC-accredited institutions, and pays tribute to several outstanding, dedicated individuals.

Each year, the Professional Development Conference affords the Commission with an opportunity to recognize the significant contributions made by several dynamic individuals representing ACCSC-accredited institutions. The Commission is currently accepting nominations for the following awards:

ACCSC is also pleased to announce the launch of our newest annual award to honor accredited member schools who operate an outstanding student services program:

The 8th annual ACCSC Professional Development Conference is scheduled for September 17 - 19, 2014 at the Westin Denver Downtown in Denver, Colorado. Registration for the PDC is Coming Soon!


ACCSC's Award Ceremony, hosted during the annual Professional Development Conference (PDC) provides the ideal forum for the Commission to recognize its ACCSC Award Winners and all of their accomplishments

Graduate of the Year
This award recognizes an individual not only demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, but also has made a meaningful contribution to their profession and demonstrated perseverance to overcome adversity.

Commitment to Education Award
This award recognizes outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of innovative, unique and effective programs that serve student needs in the best possible manner.

Volunteers of the Year
The Volunteers of the Year Award is an award which recognizes individuals from the ACCSC community who have made a significant contribution to career education through his or her dedication to, and support of, the accrediting process.

Community Service Award
The Community Service Award is designed to recognize ACCSC-accredited institutions that have made outstanding contributions to their local community through service initiatives.

Schools of Distinction
This award recognizes accredited member schools that demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation, as well as a commitment to delivering quality educational programs to students.

Schools of Excellence
This award recognizes ACCSC-accredited institutions for their efforts in demonstrating a high level of achievement among their students and a commitment to the accreditation process.
